IndiGo posts biggest quarterly loss in 5 years at Rs 2,844 cr; revenue dips 92%

InterGlobe Aviation, which operates IndiGo, has reported a net loss of ₹2,844 crore in the April-June quarter compared to a net profit of ₹1,203 crore in the year-ago period. This was its biggest quarterly loss in five years. The revenue from operations fell by 92% from the previous year to ₹766.7 crore during the first quarter amid the coronavirus lockdown.
